Very clean place and we adores a puppy from there and enjoy here company very much

Adopted my new pup from them, and we absolutely love her!

They do not answer the phone. The voice-mail recommends you use Facebook messenger. They do not post enough information on pet finder to adequately assess pets. They are slow to look at applications. They do not actually open during stated hours. Maybe they take good care of the pets their but I can not honestly attest to this as I only got as far as having driven their and called them then building a temp Facebook account to IM them. Customer service is lacking.

We have adopted from them twice now. They are great to work with. The only complaint is their limited hours. It's hard to get there from this part of town if you work.

Nice cause but can’t help but be frustrated. Filled out an application more than a month ago and absolutely nothing. Tried calling more than once, no answer any time, voicemail said to message on Facebook— did that, same thing. Thought it wouldn’t hurt to stop by in person after more than a week with no response— people inside didn’t even talk to us until after we got back in the car and started it to leave when no one seemed to want to help us. The person we finally talked to was nice but just said they had our application but were busy and would get back to us in a couple days— we didn’t get to meet any dogs that day and we never heard anything back at all. Found and took home a great dog from another shelter that same weekend— much easier process and staff there were much more willing to help and work with us. I know people are busy and understaffed lately, but just don’t see how this helps people or animals— and reading other reviews, looks like I’m not the only one who experienced this. What a bummer!

I adopted my sweet little Ginger from them and she gave me so much love. They rescued her from a puppy mill. She spent the first 6 years of her life in that horrible place.

Im trying to adopt a dog not buy a house. Why do you need so many references, questions

It's a great place i have got many animals from here in the past. I am now getting two cats. I really recommend this place if your trying to get animals they are all for the most part friendly and the staff is amazing and very friendly. Thank you guys!! :)

Took my dog to get microchipped and she is a very nervous dog and has alot of energy. However by the end of our visit she was eating treats out of their hands and was unleashed and walking by the cats!! They were very patient and kind to her!!

We were able to adopt a beautiful little Shiba. You don't realize that you were missing that piece of your heart until it is filled by her presence. We have had Thea for 7 months, and can't thank Start Over Rover enough for how easy they made the process. Would 110% recommend if looking to give a furbaby a loving home.
