La Casa Mexican Restaurant

The tacos were amazing!! The red salsa and green guacamole salsa was delicious and spicy (definitely got a good nasal cleanse). Food is good, would recommend, staff was eager to serve and help. The location can be a little off-putting but honestly it's worth stopping by.. the ambiance is unique, which made me like it more. Next time I come out here, I'm going back 😊

Service was horrible!!! Our waiter forgot that we were even there. Waited ateast 10 minutes for ice water and then another 20-30 minutes for him to come take our order. (My husband had to say something for him to even come over.) Then my son cant have milk products and they they made the order wrong 2 times, the 3rd time they covered up the cheese with sauce. Finally after the 4th time they got it right. The only good thing is that they didn't charge us for my son's meal!!!

Fantastic food from a family owned restaurant. This place is my favourite place to stop when I'm in town.

Stopped in at the recommendation of a local- it did not disappoint! Barbacoa soft flour tacos ($2.25 each) were stuffed full of meat and toppings- 2 would be plenty for a meal for most. We left very satisfied!

La Casa's food was on point! This is my husband's plate and honey, let me tell you this was the most wonderfully made aesthetically! It tasted as good as it looked! Our tastebuds were exploding! I loved the special hot sauces.. I felt like I was home, South of the border. Thoroughly Loved! Will be back soon!

Best authentic Mexican food in town. I love eating there with my family. They are all so nice. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Best Mexican restaurant I've ate at thus far its way better than el puertos! La comida es mucho Bueno! It's the best Mexican food in town for the price and the service is great the atmosphere is awesome and of course the food is Hella good. It is a great experience to eat there I give this restaurant a 10/10 u got to try it.

I would like to start off by saying I LOVE menudo and flour tortillas... But this was the worst I've ever seen!! More than half of the quart was liquid, I got one soup bowl of HUGE chunks of tripe with almost zero hominy. There was also a whole bone in the container, and even worse I almost chipped a tooth on a smaller piece. My husband was told 10 mins on a to-go order of just this and he waited 30. I ended up throwing it away. Someone's mother should be ashamed of them for this travesty of a soup.

The food was very rich, well prepared, they treated us excellently, they were very friendly and attentive. I recommend the shrimp cocktail and the exquisite meat platter

The atmosphere here is nice, but casual. The food is fresh and tastes very good. I am a large guy (tall and hefty) so the booths feel a bit small and the chairs a little under cushioned. However, I really like eating here because of the quality of the food. The service is usually quick and friendly, but you may have to ask for a refill as the staff is small. But this makes it even more homey feeling as they are willing to help you out. This place is local and a good asset to downtown Hastings. Check them out and have a great meal.
