This company goes above and beyond when it comes to service and the way that they treat people. The crew was very respectful, not only when talking to us but also the way that they cared about how they did their job. They were on time, asked what the game plan was when it came to where the furniture was and how they were going to pack it. When they had their plan, they got right to work and wrapped all furniture items that may have needed it. They did a fantastic job and making sure that everything was secured and tightly packed in their truck. They were quick and efficient with their time. When unpacking, they took their time to make sure that all items are taken care of and they placed everything to where it needed to be. I highly recommend this company when it comes to moving!

I just realized I gave the Island movers the wrong review. Here is an honest review about my move on Friday 04/29/2022 They arrived on time but granted I picked up the wrong size of track. They were pleasant and friendly. We worked out a time for them to return at 12 noon and help me finish the move. They did not return to help move until 1.5 hours later. They did not bother to call and let me know they will be running late. I called several times after 12 noon to check up on them. They did not bother to return my calls nor inform me they were held up with their job and would be running late. I had to call the Island Moving business phone line and spoke with Rita to ask about where they were. Rita did try to help me find out why there was a delay and no communication from her team. When they finally showed up at 130pm. There was no apology or explanation offered as to why my numerous calls to them were not answered not returned or why they were running behind by 1.5 hours. Needless to say they were slow and one of them complained about how heavy the furniture was and did not see the value in having such heavy furniture. He was referencing my dining table. Said it was beautiful but did not see the value in it being so heavy. Mind you I had moved a majority of the furniture out by the time they came back 1.5 hours late and they were slow and lacked the urgency of time to move quickly despite being so late. They were Incompetent movers and would not recommend. I have moved several times and I am confident in this review. Someone should educate them to learn the importance of communicating to provide updates and generally respect other peoples time. They should keep their negative comments to themselves and that they are there to complete a job not to offer unsolicited negative comments about people's property. They were the the worst movers I have ever had in my many years of moving experience. I have moved in and out of state several times and they were terrible. Communication is critical it's great customer service. They lacked bigtime and still had the nerve to ask for a tip after a terrible job. I would not recommend the two movers.

Great experience with this moving company. Moved us 100 miles and no surprises, no delays and no damage. Good group of professional people to work with.

The three gentlemen that moved my couch and love seat were absolutely amazing and professional. Given the heat they were quickly and with such accuracy I was blown away. I feel bad I live on the 3rd flow of my apartment with no elevator!!! Keep up the amazing work guys!!!

I had the guys help me move to a different town, they showed up and worked fast and took real good care of my thing and moved everything I ask they to move. They very friendly and fast everything went nice and smooth. I would recommend these guy to anyone who need to move to use them everything was great and fast. They are number one in book if I ever need anything else.to moved.

We had Braden and his team move us from York to Kearney. They did a great job. Very careful and efficient. They all had great attitudes and would definitely use them again.

They kept me informed of when they were coming. They showed up and worked hard. They were very careful with everything they moved. They were helpful with putting together what they had to take apart to get in the door. No surprises with the price. Very pleasant. Highly recommend them.

The movers were extremely friendly and cautious, treated my furniture as if it was their own. They worked diligently and got a lot done in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend them to anyone moving.

The guys at Island Moving were friendly and very professional. They moved all of my items very quickly and helped me set up things at my new home. Tony and Joey went over and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Moving can be stressful and they made it easy.
