Hastings Inn

Super friendly staff made my time in this small town of Hastings all memorable. It was very clean and affordable.

We travel a lot from state to state. We think this hotel is very clean and all the staffs are very nice compared to others. Even breakfast is good. We love this hotel.

The room was clean and my car didn't get broken into or stolen. TV had a remote and there was coffee in the office at 6:45. I got what I paid for.

Not new or modern but clean. And the family is wonderful. Always accommodating and friendly. I stay here often and have never had an unpleasant stay.

We mistakingly made reservations here instead of a similar named hotel. Thought we would try to make the best of it. Musty, smoky room with hardly what you would call a bathroom and a window that came off its track was topped off by internet that didn't work. We asked for a refund and went our way... Thank heavens... I would have been sick by morning from the mildew and smoke. Not to mention we had to have internet access for business. Wanted to get out of there fast so didn't take any pictures.

I've stayed here a handful of times over the last few years when traveling for work, the gentleman running it has always been friendly. If you're looking for a cheaper room in the area, this is it. Rooms may be outdated, however, the beds and pillows are comfortable, tv works, showers work(although bathroom/shower is very small), there's outlets to plug into, and there's a microwave & fridge in the rooms. There's a few charcoal grills left out front in middle island which I believe you can use if they're available, and there's a washer and dryer in the office area for your laundry. Three 24 hr. gas stations next to it, restaurants close by (try Dugarell's about 1 mile up the road, bands playing on the weekends), and a canal path for anyone wanting to take a walk/bike ride or just get out of their room for a bit and scope the area. There was a flea market here last year (summer 16') kitty corner across the street near some historic buildings which were cool.

The place is gross, but if you want a place to smoke Meth and not be bothered this is the best place..but if you're interested in comfort and some thing nice.. Nope, there's video on you tube of the staff going in the room to clean and they looked in there belongings,, wow.. That's a new thing.. Yeah right

This place is totally fine. Don't worry about it. Check in guy was nice, room was clean and fairly priced. Could've be waaaaaaaaay worse. Normally when I stay in motels I feel like I'm going to get murdered any second. What a slogan...come here!! You won't get murdered!! Buts it's fine. I like having my vehicle right outside the door. That's the number one benefit of motels. I'm telling you I've stayed in a bunch of crappy motels and this place is TOTALLY fine. Plus you get 2 waters in the fridge.

The people who own the place are good people. This is quiet and family run.. It is on a main road in Hastings and is close to anything you want to do in Hastings. There isn't a lot of traffic there so its a good place to stay if you have kids also if you don't and are a smoker it is one of the last places around that offer smoking roomsm. The smoking rooms are completely separated from the non smoking rooms so it is good for both. ☺
