Terrible company to work for full of lies and deception will do everything to make your job difficult

Amazing service, breakneck speed and made it fast and easy for us. Had quite the issue, experienced team knew how to fix it, and had us out in less than an hour. Cannot recommend them enough for a fix n friendly people all around too!

Anybody tired of being just a truck number working for a big company, that doesn't make you feel appreciated and only giving you just enough miles to line their own pockets? I will definitely recommend and recommend Grand Island Express. It's no doubt you apart of a team and you are known by your name here. Not one person has anything negative to say. These are great people and I don't run across a group of great people as a team as a whole often. Many blessings to Mr. Pierney and the crew.:)

This company is putting society in danger one of their driver threatened to me a death with racial and being racist i seen other incident where obw guy bit up pregnant woman i. Truck stop and i was about to get shot avery sad tneir safety guy lucas ia the onw i spoke with on the phone he is more on defending his driver i have vedios of incident and how it happen i will update once i go with the legal procedures

I am the girl everyone was concerned about from the Petro in York Nebraska. I am doing great. I have to admit this company has been amazing with everything that happened. Lucas the safety manager amazing and caring person. He listened to both sides and didn't pass judgement, TJ also very beautiful person, I WILL KEEP MY THOUGHTS TO MYSELF ABOUT KATE , SHOVE ME OFF THE STEPS, BOY OH BOY. Anyway, everyone please don't give this family oriented company a bad rep over the incident that took place in York Nebraska. Still with my husband, we are happier than ever, if anything, GRAND ISLAND EXPRESS THANK U , CAUSE YOU HAVE MADE US REALIZE MANY THINGS. I have been with GIE for 6 months now as a company driver. I am more than impressed with the company. It is a very down to earth family oriented company. Always friendly and smiling faces. The equipment is very well maintained. If you encounter an issue it is fixed right away. The pay is really good. The benefits are awesome. Detention is automatic. The dispatch team and planners keep your wheels spinning if that is what you desire. Last week I drove over 3400 miles. The monthly safety bonuses are a big plus. I average between $600 - $800 each month. That is free money. Home time is no problem at all. I highly recommend this company to any drivers who is in the industry to make a great paycheck.

Onboarding was pretty straight forward & painless. I can honestly say I wasn’t lied to by the recruiter and in this business that’s saying a lot. HA!

Jim and tom are great dean is ok so is kyle. But the fleet managers are terrible. I was yelled at cussed at and was given a jesus sermon If you want a real truck company come to crete. Its like heaven to hell. Ask them why the turn over is so high. You will find out yourself.

From top to bottom overall a great OTR carrier to drive for. I came on as a new driver and went through their driver training program. After doing some homework trying to find the best carrier to work for as I'm inexperienced and new to the industry I found the recruiters to be very knowledgeable and straight forward. No BS and everything they said come full circle. My driver trainer was awesome, shop is on point and takes care of their equipment, dispatch and planners keep your wheels turning, safety does their part to make things easy, most importantly as long as you do your paperwork properly payroll will be spot on every single week. Get to your destination safely and on time there will be no micro managing. Monthly safety bonus is very easy to achieve for an extra 5 cpm for every mile driven each month. I did leave for a local job after 1 year but I definitely recommend Grand Island if you're looking for good miles and pay OTR.

So far I haven't seen one driver from this company doing what he is told to do at my place of business. We tell them to keep your doors closed. And leave the seal alone. He had a hard time backing into the doors (20 minutes later)he decided to break the seal and open his doors... Why is it always grand island express?
