Days Inn by Wyndham Grand Island

Stayed here last night while passing though and the carpet was disgusting, the air unit in our room smelled like rancid urine, and the bed was as hard as the floor. Breakfast was okay but the non stick coating on the waffle iron was peeling off into the waffles. Since the air unit didn’t work we opened the window a crack to get some sort of air flow into the room and we ended up freezing the whole night and barely slept. Also, no need to set an alarm in the morning because the housekeeper will knock on your door early without even checking out. Staff somewhat spoke English but, was far from professional. Will say the bathroom was fairly clean the only issue you may have is if your tall you will have to squat during your shower.

Update: Really, you reply after 5 months and then accuse me of being rude? I was not rude. You say I should have asked for a manager? I did. My request was nastily refused. As for my mention of the bald clerk working in the morning, that is a simple, neutral physical descriptor. The clerk did not give a name, leaving no other means of identifying who it was. If you think mentioning the physical feature of baldness is rude, then you are the one with the prejudice against it. I was never rude, you are just trying to deflect from my rightful complaints. Try again. I received terrible service from desk clerk Harshil. My reservation was paid in advance and I indicated that I have a Service dog. On arrival, Harshil illegally requested certification for my dog. When I informed him that under the ADA, hotels may not request this, he replied "Wyndham does." He stated that it is a company policy to require documentation or charge a pet fee for service animals. He also insinuated that I was lying to pass off a pet as a Service dog. In fact my dog is legitimate and has documentation, but it is illegal for Wyndham to request it, let alone make it a condition of access to a disabled guest. Harshil only relented after I asked if I needed to contact the police. In the morning when I checked out, the bald clerk did not ask how my stay was. I also never received a receipt either online or in paper. I will think hard before ever booking with a Wyndham hotel again.

Good breakfast. Eggs, biscuits n sausage, waffles, muffins, cereal, bagels and assorted drinks. Sheets were crisp and fresh with a cute bedspread. Carpet was old but clean. Bath looks like it is being updated and water pressure was good. Quiet hotel and close to many restaurants.

Room 129 had mold on the bathroom walls, there was a water leak in the ceiling, hair on the floor. The bed was like a rock. I slept there because I was with a group. When I went to speak to the staff and offer feedback, the older man was rude and told me I was wrong. He said it was a very nice room. We paid $80 for the room. Way too much, it was not worth what I paid. I will not stay here again. And if you choose it, get a cheaper rate on Expedia. It wasn't terrible, just not worth what I paid.

For the price, it was great. Stayed here after a day of driving across the country and would recommend if you are looking to stay the night during a road trip. Great service. I had an issue with my reservation and the owner worked with me to fix it even though I had booked a non-refundable stay. The room was clean, and smelled really good The biscuits and gravy were great for breakfast Pet friendly with a 10$ charge, so a lot less than some other stops in Nebraska.

This is a nice little hotel! The staff is all very friendly and helpful! The rates are pretty good! There are several amenities...continental breakfast, fitness center, guest laundry. They are pet friendly too, with a fee. The rooms are pretty modern and comfortable.

Beds were super comfy, pillows were fluffy, room was cute, everything was clean, always check beds for bed bugs before taking our stuff in and it waa very clean. Clean bathroom, fridge microwave and coffee pot in room very convenient. Price was great and staff was very friendly.

Add a minor issue with my room front desk took care of it very quickly. I was in room 110

The beds in our handicapped room are hard as a rock. For the money the room cost for one night, there should not be old hard beds especially for a handicapped person with very painful back, hip & knee problems! Very unhappy with beds (main attraction)

VERY IMPRESSED! Now THIS is what we expect when staying at a Wyndham hotel. The room is absolutely beautiful-reflective of the whole property. Immaculately clean, old-school washer/dryer (preferred), AND...REAL CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST!!! I mean from a variety of instant oatmeal to a mini waffle maker. This has been the best lodging experience since our stay at the Hyatt in New York-hands down!
