I travel in to Hastings for work occasionally and decided to order takeout. Staff is super friendly and the food was ready when they said it would be. Went simple with steak and veggies (hard to go wrong). Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, just the way I asked for it. Veggies were also delicious. I can't wait to come back and try something else.

Really great new restaurant in Hastings. Wife had the BBQ chicken salad and I had the Bison smash burger. Both were really good. Has plenty of seating even when busy. Give this place a shot if your in Hastings.

We had great service (awesome waitress) and the waffle fries appetizer and lasagna main dish were great. But I am begging you to please add more ambiance! The place looks like a school cafeteria, complete with the long cafeteria tables you see right when you walk in the door. The solution seems really obvious (and simple)…put some really huge paintings on the walls so we get the feeling that we are at a cool restaurant, not school lunch.

We were visiting Hastings for a HS basketball 🏀 tournament. We thought this restaurant concept looked fun...so we decided to enjoy our Anniversary dinner here. Wow! This place will exceed your expectations! From the produce used for rheir salads, the quality of the meats, and the amazing homemade dressings....you will delight in each bite. We live over 3 hours away and will DEFINITELY return for this experience! Well done Blue Fork!

Where do I begin…… the waitress was very attentive from the time I first sat down and great at making suggestions- it was my first time there. She had great follow up for the whole service. I ordered a light lunch with the soup special - GREAT FLAVOR on the pumpkin lentil soup. I also ordered the seasonal lasagna to take to my 87 year old Mom for dinner out of town. The portion was very generous. I lost track of how many times she commented how much she loved the flavor and how good it was. Then she asked me if I could make it 😍. My only regret - I didn’t take pictures. I wish I lived closer than Lincoln - I would be a regular! I loved everything about Blue Fork.❤️

I was traveling and in dire need of "real" food. This was exactly what I was craving! I had the Mediterranean bowl with farro, chickpeas, pickled red bell pepper and onion, Brussels sprouts, and heirloom tomatoes, and I added chicken. It was amazing!!

My parents, bf and I went to Blue Fork for a birthday dinner. I had the Schnitzel and Spaetzle. It was A-MAZING. It was literally a slice of Germany. The pork schnitzel was the perfect size, tenderness, and crispness on the outside. The mushroom sauce was so delicious. The cooked lemon slice added the perfect tang to the dish. I just had to scrape all the leftover sauce off my plate (it seemed more polite than licking the plate, which I was tempted to do!!) I also had a peach Moscow mule and it was very good! My mom let me try a piece of her filet and it was so tender and delicious. This might just be my favorite restaurant from now on! I would highly recommend this place. Seriously worth a visit. Plus, our waitress was very personable and attentive!

This place has just opened. They were offering a limited menu, with many delicious sounding items in the "coming soon" category but we were delighted with what we chose. I would recommend starting with the corn fritters appetizer; it was amazing.

I used "Open Table" to reserve a table and had marked "birthday" for why we were dining out that night. Table was ready when we arrived with a cool little plate to mark the occasion. Drinks were a little slow coming out, otherwise service was great. Main dishes were tasty (turkey melt and salmon) but the brussel sprouts were a little salty and the soup was not quite what we thought it would be from what was described (chicken in it was very sparse and flavor was kind of blah). Overall, a good dining experience :)

I have been there three times now and have tried different dishes every time. The flavor is deliciously unique, portions are plentiful, and price right for the restaurant type. The layout of the restaurant is also quite unique in comparison to other restaurants in Hastings. I enjoy the change. The staff is always polite, energuzed, professional, and knowledgeable. They can definitely help you with decisions. This time I tasted both the shrimp and grits as well as build the pasta shrimp/pappardelle noodles/alfredo. This pasta combo might end up being my true go to when I go there.
