Motel 6 Grand Island, NE

The entire facility was spotless and everything worked as it should The receptionist was cheerful and friendly. We were traveling by motorcycles and she offered on her own to allow us to park the bikes up front under the portico. The Motel is connected to a huge truck stop and that means everything from food to electronics to furniture to clothing is readily available. If you are enjoy trucks there were over 50 in the parking lot. But, there was little to no noise from them. I would stay there again. It is a cut above!

My truck broke down an my company put me up here for the night. I have to say I was impressed at how nice the lady at the front desk was. And how clean the room was. Walking down the hallways it even smells clean. It’s within waiting distance to Bosselman truck stop which has a lil bit of everything. If anything happens to my truck again I will come back here.

Room service never comes.. asked house keeping if they could come in clean and she got upset about it then said ‘I guess it’s ok I’ll get over it’ I rented for week needed a cleaning like bedding towels sweep whatever nothing major because I had already picked up.. was sitting in lobby and heard her telling they man in front how it was a mess I had so much stuff and she fell over, even though that wasn’t true I had picked up. But thought that was very unprofessional that she would be bad mouthing customers loudly in front lobby.. other than that rooms are fine a little small but ok for price and coffee every morning

Got a first floor room as requested when reserved! Hollered for Mark when I had key trouble and he came to me. Good guy!

My semi truck broke down in Grand Island and it took two days to repair. I could not get a taxi to take me to the hotel chain that I typically stay with. There was a Motel 6 in the same area of the truck repair. The last time I rented a Motel 6 room was in the 1980's, when they charged extra for the TV key!?! The folks at this Motel 6 were wonderful! I needed some important documents printed, they took care of that quickly. The facility and room were clean and in great shape. Plenty of area to walk my dog. The next time that I need a room in this area, I will be staying here!

Only 2 complaints - rooms are extremely small and they do not serve breakfast. Other than that all is good. Staff is wonderful, very helpful and caring. Good place! Clean and great location.

Staff was great. Room was clean. Right when we walked into Motel 6 there was a fresh clean smell. Definately will stay again.

Amazing check everyone was very friendly and amazing especially Tammy was very kind full and amazing she explained how she keeps the hotel safe and was very nice amazing place to stay y’all will love it

I'm not sure how this place has a 4.1 star rating. Based on noise and maintenance, I can't see that this place would get that rating. There is NO noise cancelling features built into this place. If you have a first floor room, you WILL hear the people above you walking around. If people are talking on the other side of the wall, you will hear them clearly. There is a truck stop across the road. The truckers leave their trucks running overnight (which, for many reasons, they need to do); but you will hear it all night long. Spend a few more bucks and avoid this off the interstate motel.
