Best laundry mat in town! Depends on who's working, to how clean it will be! That's why I didn't give it 5 star.

A clean laundry mat, nice atmosphere makes you feel comfortable. They have personal to assist you if you don't know what you are doing. Dryers work, which cost less money.

Great place to patronize if you need to complete one of life's Less Pleasant activities for most. Always very friendly, very clean and nice equipment. Almost like a Walmart as far as One-Stop shopping for a few areas. You can tan and go get something to eat due to its proximity to restaurants while doing your laundry. Only negative is that it seems a little expensive if you use a drop off service but then again , you get what you pay for. So if you want Superior Service this is your place to go!

Not been to a laundry mat in a long time, but when I went to this place the staff had a dog there. Now I don't hate dogs, but would rather not have them hanging out in a place I am trying to clean my clothes at. Otherwise just your typical no frills business.

You dont say where is your laundry go get it to a customer. Heard excuses well we have people come in and get quarters, that is not my problem, dont make assumptions because I was getting quarters first and parked right by front door. If it weren't for customers you wouldn't have a business right. Treat customers with respect!

This is definitely an older laundromat. However, it is very effecient and you get more time for your money. Dryers are at least 8 minutes for a quarter where other places you get only 6 minutes. Galaxy world is always my first choice

last wash load is 730 but open ril 9. asked if I could just do a load of wash and not dry at 8:10p. employee at that time said no he was closing at 8:30. ridiculous that hours posted are til 9 and a load of wash would only take 25 minutes

I'm native Islander and have use all or, if not, all almost all laundry services in Grand Island- With out question Galaxy Laundry is the best. My clothes come out cleaner while using less detergent, most likely because Galaxy uses soft water. The icing on the cake is the reasonable cost, which is the lowest in town- I only wished they stayed open past 6 pm. and last wash at 4:30 p. Wednesdays are the best day to do laundry at Galaxy as the washers are only $1.00. The tanning beds are excellent too. May not be the newest or the prettiest buy think they are the BEST.
