Days Inn by Wyndham Grand Island I-80

I have stayed all over the world in many many different hotels. I was driving from Denver to Pleasant Prairie, Wi. My girlfriend booked the stay on Priceline. The gentlemen at the counter was extremely extremely nice and welcoming. I was deliriously tired. My two pups and I were so happy to get into the room. The room was super clean and well kept. I honestly could not be happier or more pleased with my stay. For the price this was probably one of the best hotel stays yet! Thank y’all again for the hospitality !

First time here at Grand Island. Nice location wonderful and friendly staff. Overall clean and nice. We had a few issues in our room, however the staff came right away to resolve. The place is showing a little age, however, the staff make up for it. Nice breakfast room, comfortable room. I would return again. 4 stars because showing age, overall I would give a 5 star.

I had made a reservation for a few employees to stay at this hotel for a business event this past weekend. I had put the reservation under one of the employees names but put it on the company card; which we've never had an issue with before in the past as we travel quite often. Upon checking in, the front desk agent was extremely rude to my employees demanding to see the physical card because he thought it was a scam. My employee called me flustered to try and get everything resolved so they could head to bed since it was later in the evening. The desk agent refused to even talk to me or get my verbal authorization or a written authorization via email. He kept demanding to see the physical card the reservation was made with. Since it was my business card, my employees didn't have it and were forced to put a personal card down for the stay. I should've just told them to leave and find a different hotel because that is only where the problems began. Upon getting up to their room, once of the lamps had an electrical issue and wouldn't stop flickering until they removed the lightbulb from it. The party in the room next to theirs was extremely loud; shouting and slamming doors well into the night. When one of my employees call down to the front desk to complain about the noise, it was brushed off and nothing was done. To say their stay was ok is about as good as it gets. The reported back to me and said they would never stay here again. I tried calling the hotel to discuss these issues with the general manager, but the hotel is unreachable by phone. It just keeps ringing and ringing with no answer until it hangs up. Very disappointed my employees had such a horrible experience at a hotel that had such good reviews. Do not recommend unless you are desperate. Edit in response to the owner: I had received videos of the lamp fixtures having electrical issues and from the noise happening in the room next to theirs. I have tried calling and emailing multiple times to the hotel with no answer or reply. Clearly the "owner" who responded to my review doesn't truly know what is happening at this property. This is the worst hotel experience my employees and I have ever had. Again, I do not recommend this facility to anyone. I would avoid at all cost. Staff is rude, as you can see in the owner's response, and the rooms are outdated. No to mention the hotel is noisy and noise complaints aren't taken seriously but just brushed off.

This hotel is neat because it has an arrangement where you get to use the fitness room and there were plenty of culligan water tanks for nice cold water and I enjoy doing that as well. Seems like when I travel I am twice at thirsty. I slept well. Love it.

Very clean basics hotel. Courteous efficient desk clerk. 430 am garbage truck emptying dumpsters, banging and reverse alarm, skimpy breakfast.

Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast was a decent size. Quiet with other services, such as fuel, food, lounge, close by. Great location. Just off interstate but not noisy at all. Housekeeping is even quieter than most places I've stayed, which is a huge bonus!! Staff, no matter who has assisted me, is always genuinely kind and helpful and never make you feel like a bother. I really enjoy my stays at Days Inn Grand Island, Nebraska. Will always be happy to return to such a comfortable hospitality establishment. Thank You Days Inn GI NE!!

This hotel was incredibly clean. The rooms had a lot of space. They allowed cats and we’re very polite. They had a breakfast buffet that was good and they’re very accommodating allowing us to have a room on the first floor so it was easy to bring our cat in and out of the apartment. I’m going to be looking for more of these hotels on the rest of my travels. I definitely recommend! I would book again!!

The room was very clean, as were the appliances. Air conditioning/heat worked perfectly. The king sized bed was absolutely amazing. Gentlemen at the front desk was very, very nice and helpful. We’ve been to many Days Inn during our travels over the years. This one takes the cake! Thank you!
