Hillrise Kennels

I travel from Omaha to board my dog here. I’m a bit over protective of my fur baby and this is the only place I take her. The staff is alway extremely kind and go out of their way to accommodate my travel schedules and my dogs needs. Definitely a 5+ star experience!

I needed to board my 7 month old large breed puppy for a couple weeks, and ended up being gone for a month. The facilities are simple, but given the price that is to be expected. The staff was friendly and appeared knowledgeable for the most part. They took my pup on short notice, which was appreciated. The problems- When I picked my pup up he was very thin and had lost weight during his stay. Since he is still growing, I had expected weight gain. When we got home he attacked the cats- something he had never done before. He was also food aggressive, which had never been a problem. Before being kenneled, he would allow our tiny kitten to eat from his dish with him. After the kennel, he attacked this same kitten. I had called the kennel often to check on him, and was always told he was doing fine. If I had known he was losing weight and not doing well, I would have found another option for him. I would recommend this facility if you plan to board your dog for a short time only. For long-term boarding look elsewhere.

We take our Oreo to get her hair cut here - good people and super helpful. They know her by name and even though Oreo is nervous about everything, they treat her well and she looks great. If you're looking for a kennel, they have to be great because everyone I've asked has mentioned they use them too! Highly recommend!

Max and Ariel have been boarded here three times with the usual average stay around 5 days. They have always taken very good care of them. Ariel has diabetes so they have to give her a shot twice a day. My dogs are actually happy to go there and sometimes I think they'd rather stay then go home with me. I couldn't ask for a better place to take them. I bring them 45 miles to have them take care of them. They always do a really good job of grooming them to. I always have peace of mind when I leave them there because I know if something happens they will get ahold of me right away. They always look really well taken care of when I get them picked up I think Ariel gains weight.

They take wonderful care of our dog, Emma. She loves it there. People are the best.

These folks took great care of my doberman and german shep. They were happy and looked in good shape when i picked them up after 8 day vacation. Prices are VERY reasonable for boarding and grounds are clean and well kept. Will definately be bringing my dogs here again.

Have been bringing Ella & P. Pot to Hillrise for couple of years now and really like the doggie doors on the kennels. They have always taken very good care of my fur babies.❤️

Great folks who take amazing care of our great pyrenees quite often. Very friendly and trust worthy. I would Highly recommend Hillrise Kennels. This is the only place we trust leaving our dog. Thank you Hillrise for such a great job you do! :)
