Countryside Inn & Suites

It's wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. It's location was really nice. Close to a lot of restaurants/downtown. But the comforters were worn and the threading was coming out. One of the two even had holes in it. Replacements are needed. Parking is tight and non-existant for large vehicles. The staff suggested parking in Ace Hardware or Walgreen's. .... Those lots really don't have much room either.

Put us on second floor when we have a dog. When we called they say there was a pool and a jacuzzi bathtubs in the room which there was not the shower is disgusting. Unsafe for kids 4 cop cars showed up and took 2 people out of here not recommended if you have kids and want them to be safe. Way over priced for the poor customer service and poor attention to the rooms

With all other hotels fully booked we had no choice but to stay here. The man at the front desk was very accommodating, polite and the cost reasonable. Despite the older exterior (also well maintained for the age) we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The room we were given was clean, fairly updated and far above any motel 6 or 8. We try to avoid those two at all costs. Never a good experience with either of them. Furthermore noticeably Countryside Inn is not a new, or perfect as some might expect. However we feel the five stars were earned given the age of the building, the way it presents, the customer service and overall efforts they put in to make your stay comfortable. Countryside has maintained an older hotel much better than most. And that’s why we would stay here again.

Lots of issues from the start. There’s supposed to be daily housekeeping. Left this morning, came back at almost 6, and the room hasn’t been touched. Still unmade beds, no fresh towels, still out of tissues, still garbage in the cans. Housekeeping has asked a couple times if we needed anything, and that’s great when you are in the room to ask. We’ve been here a week. The waffle maker is out of order and there’s hardly any breakfast. Also gave us grief when we checked in about our 2 kids. Asked if they were staying in the room with us. I said yes, that’s why we got 2 beds. Expedia asked for our kids’ ages when I booked, but here kids are only those under age 9. Pretty comfortable room overall but probably won’t stay here again.

I only had $150 and couldn't afford a $200 down payment. The manager there was excellent and understood my current situation and really bent over backwards to help me out when I hit rock bottom and just needed a night to stay to figure things out and get my life back on track. Bless you guys so much and for a beautiful manager that helped a guy out when needed help. I recommend this place. Out of this world service and a great stay!!!!

Their housekeeping was excellent. They maintained the rooms and general areas very well. Everything was cleaned thoroughly everyday.

Worst experience ever. Literally left me outside, doors locked, disabled the phone so it wouldn't work, and this is all after i worked at there town fair. I called in advance and asked if me showing up at 1 or 2 am would be a problem and i was told me no of course, as they asked for my money in advance. Guess who had to sleep in his car? Thanks alot countryside Inn, you treat marines awesome.

They say dog friendly but getting to where dog can go potty, is a trick. Also no lights in the yard. I didn't feel safe here. And I travel diffrent places with my dog.

The overnight cost was acceptable. The bed was comfortable and the gentleman at the front desk was very nice.

We are staying in the king suite, and have been pleased so far. The room is good sized, the bed is actually really comfortable, and there's a sofa so you aren't stuck sitting on the bed every time you just want to relax without laying down. My only issue is we can't open the curtains because there is a neighborhood right behind the hotel; when you do open the curtains, you're looking down at people in their back yard, which is awkward. Overall, the hotel is modern and clean. They offer a continental breakfast that's basic but more than sufficient (cereal, yogurt, honey buns, muffins, fresh (make yourself) waffles, coffee, hot tea and juice. The entire location appears to be we'll maintained, not only are the rooms clean, but the halls, lobby and other general areas are very clean and smell nice (yes, that matters). I would peak in other rooms when I walked by on the way to our room and housekeeping was cleaning everything thoroughly. Overall, very pleased with our stay and will stay here again in the future.
