Hampton Inn Columbus NE

Nice hotel! Amenities were great. Rooms clean! Modified hot breakfast due to COVID-19 was a good option too. Staff was hard working though not very friendly/welcoming (very little communication during interactions). TV remote in one of our rooms was missing. Staff brought a new one and turned TV on, but couldn't switch channels- came to fix again - then wouldn't shut off. Had to unplug it so kids could go to sleep.

Everything was great with no issues. The bathroom toilet was old fashioned with the seat that slams shut instead of the soft-close type. The room wasn't cleaned after the first night however it was cleaned on the second evening of our stay. Breakfast could have been improved by issuing cleaned utensils for the guests, (Covid-Protection) should have been in use. The hotel was clean but needed Covid Protection instead of none as we experienced during the stay there

We love staying here. The staff are amazing and super friendly. This is the first hotel we look at when needing a room for the night. It's clean, quiet and has all the annuities we need including being pet friendly and a swimming pool for our boys. The location is also a wonderful as well there is food and shopping within walking distance.

This is a new hotel; however, there were a lot of missed opportunities to make it better. My lock on my room did not latch. I actually stayed in this room in June and had the same issue. This was not fixed the first time I reported it. The desk light and clock not working and the floor board coming off the wall in the bathroom. The yogurt was not cold and did not have much for gluten-free options. The staff were very nice and helpful and I will stay here again since my business is in Columbus.

I am a guest in this hotel about 2x/month. While the hotel is new and the staff are great, the cleanliness of the rooms is horrible. Every stay I have had in the past year there is hair in the shower, on the floor, and counters. Some of the stains look like no one even attempts to wipe them off. This is extremely disappointing as I am an HH member and I put lots of money and time into the Hilton brand. I hope someone moves on this review before a new hotel comes to town and I take my business elsewhere.

We were told the room would be $129.00. When we were checking out the bill was $155.00. Why can't you and your employees give the full price when ask a person asks how much the room will cost?

Great location, great beds, and strong water pressure. Air conditioning kept room chilly! Very friendly staff.

A very nice hotel in Columbus, quite new and clean. Comfortable rooms and beds. Hot breakfast that usually includes something more interesting than just scrambled eggs and thin bacon strips.

Stopped here on our way to a wedding. Was impressed with the free dinner. Breakfast was standard, but still good. Rooms were clean and well furnished.

My company have stayed at this hotel plenty of times and every time the hotel staff always offers such an amazing experience! Especially Crystal. Knowing it was my birthday she had went out of her way and got me a beautiful cake. If you are looking for a hotel that treats you as family rather than just a customer then I would 100 percent recommend this specific hotel.
