Great historic place, known as the oldest tavern west of the Missouri River. Excellent service and food!! Friendly staff who made sure we were taken care of. Good prices.

I stopped in for a family function, at the small unassuming tavern. Truth be told, I wasn't expecting much, but boy was I wrong. The young man with the gauged earrings so we gracious and welcoming, he was the epitome of customer service. The food was fricking amazing, and I fed my family of four for $20, you just can't get quality at that price point anywhere else. Anytime I'm in good old colombus, I'm gonna stop for a burger and a beer. So so so worth it.

An historic stop in Columbus. Food is good greasy spoon, you can feel the history and the Nebraska Husker love oozing from the rafters. (Literally). Service for food is minimal, you get it when it comes out, not necessarily together, I mean hey --this is a Tavern...not a restaurant so, don't be surprised. There is a good selection of mainstream and native brews.

Delicious home cooked sandwich fare. Tasty appetizers and snacks as well. Stellar, friendly service in a historic atmosphere. A landmark ! A definite MUST !

Yeah, its the oldest tavern in Nebraska. Food is cheap and delicious. Staff was kind, professional and friendly.

We ended a day trip to Columbus at Glur’s Tavern for supper and it was well worth it! The owner was friendly, food was great, beer was cold, everything was well priced, and the waitress was a sweetheart! She even took a picture of our family out in front. I realized that when we left, I didn’t add on a tip, I was so enthralled with the history and had an ADD moment, but we called back in and made sure to take care of a great gal! Thank you, for the perfect ending to our Columbus adventure. We would definitely stop here again.

I absolutely loved this place. It's a very very local bar with a large pub menu. The food is ok and gets better the more you drink. The staff is friendly and it's definitely a place to check out. It's like the first bar in Nebraska or something like that.

Excellent food menu, excellent beer selection. Had to stop at the state's oldest tavern. They were short-handed with employees so when the bartender needed to run an errand in town, he closed up the bar. I am glad we returned an hour later. They also sell t-shirts!
