Staff is usually always positive and helpful. Lots of squat racks / benches. Plenty of variety and options. Awesome gym for the size of the town.

This is a great facility and I see the Y trying to upgrade new machines. I would have given a five star rating, but there are no racquetball courts. Huge bummer!!

i have only been at this facility 2 times, and i think it’s super great! but one of the front desk workers was very rude to me. i went to workout at around 6am, and i do NOT have a membership so i paid my $10 that morning. the guy working the desk that morning was very very nice, and told me that i can come back at any time that day since i paid, but i had forgotten to sign in that morning. me and a friend made plans to go back and go swimming. i knew that me forgetting to sign in was going to cause some problems but i was just going to let the front desk worker know when we went back. and i had every intention to find a way to prove i was there. when we walked in the front desk worker was not the same as from that morning, it was a lady now. we walked up to the desk and the desk worker was having a friend-to-friend conversation with another woman and didn’t really acknowledge that i was clearly standing at the desk. i was patient and was just thinking that she was wrapping up her conversation because i was a customer with a question but she kept talking. when she was done talking she seemed very annoyed. before i could even tell her the issue she asked me my date of birth. i told her that i actually had just forgotten to sign in, but i was there earlier and paid my $10. she gave me a sorta dumb look and said she had been there all day, and what time i was there, making me seem like i was lying straight to her face. i told her i was there at around 6am and the front desk worker was a man. and then proceeded to tell me that i had to sign in next time or i will not be allowed back in. she was very rude and didn’t try to sound nice and let me know that in a nice way. after that i went into the adults locker room with my friend. we are both 19 year old college students so we have every right to use that locker room. we had no issue the 1st time we were there. after we were done swimming, we walked by the front desk to exit, while coming from the direction of the adults locker room. the same desk worker looked at us and rudely asked us if we were youth. we told her no. then she proceeded to ask us if we’re out of high school, we then told her yes. she must’ve wanted to bust us thinking we were children but we really can read the signs saying adults only, and since we are adults we used the adult locker room. i felt very mistreated and rudely spoken to because i made a simple mistake.

this place really didn't make me happy there were many complaints about having shirts for those who are younger. People should be able to wear the shirt under a hoodie or another shirt. Many kids are in the ymca that are younger and are not getting in trouble for anything but when it comes to some 8th graders that are experienced while many younger kids are not disturbed while working out.
