Welcome School

We just completed our 3rd year at Welcome School. My 6 yr old attended for 2 years and my 4 yo just completed his 1st year. My kids are happy, safe and learning...what more can I ask?

These ladies are incredible!!! Mrs.McCann especially, worked miracles with my daughter, and I feel so good about my daughter being prepared for Kindergarten next year. My daughter bloomed here and it was very cool to watch. I would recommend this preschool to everyone!!!

We have completed one year at The Welcome School and are now doing the summer program and signed up for next year as well. As parents of a child who had never been to any daycare/program at all, heading into preschool last year was absolutely daunting for all of us. My daughter was hesitant and cried for the first few days, leaving us. Then it was like a switch went off: she started to become so excited to go to school! She couldn't get enough of it at a 3 day program so we ended up signing her up for both the summer school and the 5 day program for next year. She is actually sad when she doesn't have school. The activities they do in the environment they provide is second to none. I always feel wonderful dropping her off & picking her up knowing she is being cared for so well by absolutely wonderful teachers. We have another child on the way and I already know where they'll be attending preschool.

Welcome School is a loving and Christ based preschool. The teachers and staff are very accommodating and wonderful. I am blessed that my two daughters were both educated at Welcome School!

We ADORE this school! I literally cried my daughters last day after 2 years of enrollment. They have something magical and special happening at this preschool. These teachers: they ADORE children and teaching. Beyond that they value the magic of childhood and play based learning so that kids can just be kids. Don't take that to mean your child is in a glorified daycare though: my daughter went from just knowing her ABCs to writing each letter, spelling multiple words and even started phonetics and reading! Math skills hugely improved, social skills, she learned so much about animals and the world around her as well. Yet she just thought she was playing. They have such amazing pretend play centers with intricate setups that change over every month with all new toys, books, puzzles, activities, etc. They also get to take home special bags every month with books and activities or stuffed animals to love and return. This makes them feel so special and excited for every day. The closest thing I could compare this amazing and reasonable preschool to is Montessori minus the price tag. The values and concepts this school and teachers have are DEFINITELY the same as the base of Montessori. For me the actual knowledge gained has always been only my second goal as a parent when it comes to education. In order to learn one must first LOVE learning. This school really sets the foundation for a lifetime of loving education. It holds a special place in our hearts and I'm thrilled to be sending my son there for his second year after my daughter just graduated and will definitely be sending my littlest as soon as she turns 3! If you value a solid, age appropriate foundation for education, if you value teachers who adore your children and what they do, if you value your child falling in love with his school and the knowledge he gains at it then Welcome School is PERFECT for you

This is a preschool that has held on to the tried and true traditional values and traditional teaching methods that work, while purposefully and intentionally incorporating new teaching techniques and methods. They have great teacher/student ratios and the teachers genuinely care about the kids. Kindergarten teachers rave about how well prepared Welcome School grads are for school. I highly recommend it!

My son has loved his Welcome School experience! We have attended for 2 years now and have loved the staff! They truly care about each child and about helping them learn and grow! Highly recommend!

Welcome School was a great place for my child to learn along with play. The staff were always friendly and my child learned so much and made great friends. The school is clean and offered a variety of learning centers throughout the year. Staff were honest about their recommendations on whether to move my child forward to kindergarten or whether she needed an extra year to grow and learn. I highly recommend Welcome School to those seeking a preschool!

My son, Blake, has been attending Welcome School for the past two years. He truly enjoys the teachers he has had. He really likes the activities they do. He comes home from school talking about what they did that day, what job he had, and what he played with his friends. Welcome School is preparing him to be successful in Kindergarten. I would strongly recommend Welcome School for anyone looking for preschool for their little ones.

Welcome School is a fantastic preschool! My two girls learned so much in their play based program. Daily outside play on an awesome playground, even in the winter, is a huge plus! The teachers are warm and caring and make each child feel special. We spent 3 years at the school and I recommend it to everyone!
