We could smell the food as soon as we got out of the car in the parking lot. It smelled great, so that was a good sign. This place has a very hole in the wall feel inside. It feels not quite finished on the inside. There's nothing terribly wrong with the atmosphere, but the place just feels incomplete somehow. We went on a Saturday night and were told about a 25 minute wait to be seated. Not bad for Saturday night. The place was definitely full. You will be brought a complimentary basket of bread once you sit down. I would say the bread was average. When we were brought silverware, it was only forks as they told us they had run out of knives. That seemed a bit odd, but we did get them with our entrées. I ordered the Sausage Pizzaola. The first thing you will notice is the gigantic portion you receive. If you leave this place hungry it's definitely your own fault. I felt like my plate could feed a small village. Even my daughter's child's meal was huge. The only complaint I had about my dinner was the Italian sausage. I was expecting more of the link or chunks instead of thin slices. Also, I was expecting it to be a little spicier. The green bell peppers and onions presented a stronger flavor than the sausage which was a bit disappointing. I tried a little of the meat sauce from my daughter's spaghetti dish and found it to be very rich in flavor. My wife got the Chicken Marsala. I didn't sample hers, but she was very pleased with it. The prices are also very reasonable. Overall, a good experience and we will be back.

My husband and I love Roma! They give you VERY generous portions, and everything is very fairly priced. They have gluten free and vegetarian options to suit our needs. The atmosphere is very warm, down to earth, and the wait staff are always very friendly and attentive. The remodeling they did to make the restaurant more aesthetically pleasing was an enormous improvement! We were so pleased when we arrived there one day after the remodel and it looked entirely different. We enjoy sitting in the little private nooks in the back of the restaurant, which are dimly lit making for a romantic evening without the expensive price tag to go with it. Makes for a great date night, or night out with friends. Very budget friendly and good down home cooking.

Not being a frequenter of Bellevue, I wasn’t aware of this place, but my first visit was excellent! The pasta was so good and made for excellent leftovers as well.

My husband, son and I visited this restaurant today for the very first time. We recently read a review and glowing comments from many people on our neighborhood app. and decided we needed to go. As soon as we were seated, we were brought out a huge serving of garlic rolls and butter. This was refreshing considering the "never-ending breadsticks" at another Italian restaurant never show up. We ordered a bowl of Alfredo sauce to dip our rolls in and then shared an antipasto salad. I ordered the manicotti and it was hot and delicious. My son ordered the salmon piccata and devoured it. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana... And this was enough food to feed all three of us! It had three pieces of chicken on the bed of pasta and marinara sauce and it was covered with cheese! Delicious! Next, we decided to order cannolis for dessert. Quite honestly, I have never had a cannoli and looked up the description. A sweet, flaky and tender dessert filled with sweetened ricotta cheese, dark chocolate morsels... It sounded amazing. This was the only thing that wasn't amazing. The cannolis were so hard you couldn't cut it with your spoon. You had to hack at it and then it was really unpleasant to try and chew. The filling was amazing, it was just the actual cannoli shell/pastry that was rock hard. We will definitely return and maybe give the cannolis another shot. Our son finished all of his meal but the husband and I both brought half of our meals home, along with an order of garlic rolls to go.

We read great reviews about this place, so we drove 30 minutes to try it out with high hopes. The server was nice, professional and capable and the bread is really good (these two things are why I gave 2 stars), however, that's where the good ended. The ravioli had potential as it appeared to be authentic; unfortunately it was over cooked and soggy. The cheese sticks were average at best. The bruschetta was soggy and the fettuccine noodles were overcooked as well. The alfredo sauce was extremely bland and the marinara sauce was very basic. We didn't finish even half of our food, but taking it home to throw away the leftovers is kind of pointless. One side note: including us, there was a total of four tables occupied and 2 servers. No one cleared off even one plate or empty cup from anyone's tables. We had a pile on our table from finished appetizer plates, empty drink cups, empty bread basket, etc as did the other patrons.

Huge portions, kind staff and fresh ingredients! I recommend the tortellini a la panna with crispy chicken, the fried calamari and the spinach dip. The dip was delicious and great for garlic lovers like myself; I was happily surprised to find it had chicken in it as well! I can't wait to go back again

Roma is a relatively new addition to our families choice of restaurants. The inside has been remodeled, providing a pleasant update. The restaurant is well staffed by friendly and helpful people. The have a limited bar, and a three page menu, which has most of the classics you would expect. The only downside, in my experience is the parking lot. It is on the small side, the lines need to be repainted, and it can get tight if they are busy. Overall a great dining option.

I was recommended this place by my 80 year old Italian neighbor who's parents came here on a boat from Italy. I asked him what the best genuine Italian in Omaha was and he said that all the amazing old Italian family restaurants are gone now, but that I should try Roma's. And so I went. The food was actually very good and at a very reasonable price. They serve portions large enough that you will most likely take half of it home. (Which everyone loves) Last thing to note: The cheeses in the pasta bakes are incredible! We ordered the Baked Ziti & the Baked Tortellini And they give free bread!!

Highly recommend Roma! The food is delicious!!! You get huge portions with lots of protein! The bread knots are yummy, they come out hot and fresh. For a small charge they have an oil and garlic dip that we always get for the bread. Since they remodeled, the inside is very nice. Super friendly staff!

Roma's was highly recommended in some groups I'm in, and honestly I thought it was another restaurant for the longest time that I already reviewed which was why I hadn't gone. After trying this restaurant I'm excited to try more from them. Portions are very generous. They have complimentary bread service. We went during lunch, so we got the lunch special menu as well. Pasta sampler special 5 stars At lunch it's 10.99. You save 2 dollars. At dinner I suggest you get the pasta combo which has a large serving of the sampler plus 2 more items. The price difference is 2 dollars from there (so a total of 4 at lunch, but 2 at dinner), so it's not much money, but you get a lot more. Lunch also comes with a salad which is why I went with the pasta sampler today. The flavors are perfect for me and this is a dish id return for. The price point is also very good. Grilled chicken breast 4 stars It was a great version of the grilled chicken breast. Good sized portion. At lunch it was 13 dollars. The vegetables were over salted for my tastes. Roma special 4.5 stars I think the sauce in this was excellent. My chef friend thought it tasted like pizza sauce though. I ordered this because I asked for their 5 star item. The dish itself was massive. For 17.99 it was a great deal with all the meat it came with. I'm just not really into that much meat, but it is very much perfect for the meat lover. I can see why they wanted me to try this dish. Service started off a bit rocky in terms that we sat there for a good amount of time with no one coming up to us. As soon as someone finally approached our table, the service from then was excellent. I included my body in one of the photos with the dishes next to each other for size comparison. Parking is available in a medium sized lot. The rows were a bit narrow and difficult for my friends jeep (he has a very large vehicle) , but smaller cars will have no problems.
