Ono Pinay Kitchen

Tried this place for the first time today, and must say I'm impressed. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. The Lumpia was the best I've had, in my limited experience with it. It was delicious. I also ordered a few other things including Kalua Pork with garlic rice and a noodle dish with cabbage and carrots that I can't recall the name of. The flavors of everything were just great. I've tried lots of restaurants around the country based on the good reviews they've gotten from people, and I'm usually disappointed. I'm hard to please and have an extensive history of trying every foreign food I encounter. Most American versions of foreign foods are a little (or a lot) bland in comparison to authentic foreign cuisine. This place though.... I'm so pleased with it. And the women I encountered inside were super friendly and helpful. Can't wait until next time! I'm going to try their Spam Musubi and Tonkatsu. I'll eventually try everything. I can't imagine being disappointed. They're skilled cooks. Thanks ladies! And thank you for serving me so close to closing time. 😁😊

A special Saturday brunch brought us in and we weren't disappointed. I had the Loco Moco and it was delish! The lumpia wasn't the same as I had in the Philippines, but it was still tasty.

Wow, the ladies here are incredibly friendly and personable and want you to be happy! I loved the Hawaiian Mac salad and lumpia, the adobo chicken was truly authentic. I'd definitely recommend this as a quick lunch spot close to the Air Force Base.

Nothing beats home cooked Filipino food, but for those who don't get it everyday this would be an option for you. They claimed to be Hawaiian-Filipino fusion, but the menu is mostly Filipino food. I didn't see Lau-Lau, Spam Musubi, Poi, or Loco Moco at all ☹️ They have manapuas though! But overall a good experience and the food was decent. Check it out for yourself, it's worth it!

Update: Upgraded to 5 stars. It turns out, you can request additional protein for purchase and they have expanded their hours to dinner and brunch for some days of the month. ———- Delicious food with a great vibe. I stopped by their special Saturday brunch event. I had their Lechón plater and their recommended PH Breakfast plater. I’m glad that I took their suggestion. The savory and Smokey tocino spam was a nice match for the sweet longanisa. Also, why not having eggs and rice for breakfast? Next is the Lechon. A roasted pork belly. This is one of my favorite Filipino dishes. The meat was super tender and the sling a bit crunchy. Great seasoning distribution and fatty as it should be. Price-wise, the dishes are very affordable and you are getting quality food for fast food places prices. I hope that if the business pick up, they are able to operate outside of the limited hours. Like many of people living in Bellevue, our work is in another city and can’t stop by during the work week. Also, looking forward for them to allow us to buy an additional side of the proteins.

What an amazing experience we had with Ono Pinay Kitchen! We had them cater my daughters graduation party. They were a big success. The food was amazing. Most of our family and friends have never had this type of food before. So we made sure everyone tried it. They all loved it. The food was a hit. On the business side of it, the Owner was very helpful and knowledgeable on serving sizes. And so friendly and easy to work with. I will definitely use them again. We drove up on opening day. The place was packed, but plenty of room to stand. Got our order in pretty quick, they were prepared for takeout orders. Nice bar area and and relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of parking even if the lot is full there's plenty of street heading into the residential area. The lumpia was really good, beef was cooked just right with the same taste my wife uses. Overall pretty good food. Price might be a buck or two high. Should give out more rice and my filwife would have been happier. Speaking of the rice, it was also made well with a few of the crunchie pieces in there. I'm not a huge fan of rice noodles but they were good mixed with the stirfry rice. I didn't get to try the drinks or desserts, so I guess I'll have to grab those sometime. We ordered 2 chicken teriyaki and a beef on opening night.

Food was amazing and completely unique in the Omaha area. It was clearly made with love and changes between different Hawaiian and Filipino specials daily. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes, making recommendations, and offering alternatives for allergies/preferences. It was great to try a number of dishes and share, family-style.

The food and the friendliness of the staff couldn’t have been better! The staff went above and beyond to make our visit a memorable one and they delivered! The owner even made a dish for us to take home that she didn’t even have on the menu that day! The Hawaiian sweet ribs were my favorite!
