Kassebaum's Martial Arts

I bought a Groupon to let my 4 year old try out martial arts. Master K was kind enough to honor the Groupon even though it was apparently not his deal anymore. Afterwards we were so impressed with how he handled class for such small kids that we signed our son up for the long run and he's still loving it! Master K perfectly pull off the tricky balance of demanding excellence while still being supportive, fun, and completely age appropriate for our now 5 year old orange belt! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Our son has matured beyond belief. He has embraced the life skills taught in the spirit of Taekwondo and has dramatically improved his physical abilities. CM Kassebaum is a professional and a caring teacher. We are so proud of the lessons and skills our son has developed and look forward to many more years of experience at this academy.

While the school itself is not a bad school, don't sign up unless you are SURE. I joined on a whim despite not living close at all and did not give it careful enough consideration. After a couple of months I realized it just wasn't feasible for me to drive over 35 miles each way and reached out to try to void my contract and even pay the cancelation fee stated in the contract. However, that contract was not actually with KMA and instead with a third party gym management company that would not accept the terms and thus locked me into paying for a gym that I could no longer attend for months after I had to stop going. I will not be so foolish as to be rushed into another contract again.

Absolutely the best place to go to in order to learn martial arts. Chief Master kassebaum is the best instructor. He teaches respect, discipline, and many other things but most importantly he teaches how to effectively defend yourself. Its never too late to start!

My 7 year old daughter did not like the program and decided she would rather spend time with her mom who has been sick and not in a hospital environment for 3 months out of the last 12. He has no respect for that and has been making comments to my son and to the entire class about how quitters are lazy and have no idea about commitment. I believe this business is just in it for the money. I mean a pair of shorts that they have to get for the summer are over $60!!!!!? And they refuse to give us a refund. I have zero respect for their morals or the way they talk to the current children in the class about others that have left the program. As far as I am concerned after my son's contract is up we will be leaving and finding a program that is in it for the compassion of teaching skill, work ethics, focus and drive. You have to make the parents and the children happy in order to keep a business and as far as I'm concerned if you keep up the way your going you will be closing soon.

I was very hesitant to start Taekwondo at my age, but when I talked to Mr. Kassebaum about all the issues I had he was very understanding. I've been there over a year now and although I still have my moments and wonder if I can do it, but Mr. Kassebaum reassures me that I can do it and that I've come along ways. I'm glad I haven't given up. I'm a green belt now and will be testing for my purple belt in December. Thank you for all the encouragement Master Kassebaum. If not for you I wouldn't have made half this far. The family atmosphere makes things alot better. Taekwondo has made my life so much better.

My son and I have been wanting to try martial arts for awhile, but we were a little hesitant about trying classes during the pandemic. Chief Master Kassebaum and the other instructors have conducted all classes with safety as the top priority. We have been so impressed with how the instructors lead by example and how all of the students and parents treat one another with respect and courtesy. We look forward to every class at ATA and we truly miss it on the days we are not able to be there.

My daughter absolutely loves taking classes here! She is always asking if it’s Taekwondo day. Everyone is so kind and professional. She is learning so much and we love watching her grow and become confident in her skills. We highly recommend Kassebaum Martial Arts School and Master Kassebaum and all the teachers for helping our child in her love for martial arts.

Our family loves Kassebaum Martial Arts! My daughters started at ages 3 and 7. They are 6 and 9 now and I do it even more than they do! We love the facility, the classes, the instructors, the members... Personally, in my mid 30's this is the first sport I've ever enjoyed and seen myself improve in. My physical and mental health have improved tremendously and I'm only motivated to get even better, as an athlete and a person!
