Catfish Lake at the Lodge

Great service, good food, but a little greasy for me. But I will go back for the flower pot bread & shrimp!

Everything was great. Maybe the best catfish I have had but I am still waiting a week later for them to credit back the double charge they did on my card. The payments already processed on 9/12 so they did get both charges. Once they make it right I will try and give a better rating.

The food was wonderful. Even without Carp everyone had a wonderful time. Both the cheeseburgers we made perfect and the little ones loved the fries, not too crunchy but also not soggy. My chicken frien chicken was HUGE and ended up taking half of it home. Then the two fish combination platter were enjoyed by everyone that ate it. The only thing is I thought it would be real shrimp piece but it was popcorn shrimp but it was still delicious. Our server was running around and her helper was Johnny on the spot and got us our refills for all of us so quickly. Very impressed and will so be back for some more wonderful food. Normally I get photos but I was so hungry and it looked and smelled so good I didn't remember photos until it was half gone. Highly recommended!

I'd rate this in my top 3 for food. The catfish was outstanding and full of flavor. Really didn't need any lemon or Red Devil which was provided. The ham and bean soup was the best I've ever had. It's hard to find a place that makes good coleslaw and whatever your doing keep doing it. Mash Potatoes were delicious too

I have traveled a lot over the years, and this restaurant was one of the absolute must visit restaurants. The food was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The portions were huge, and you had plenty of leftovers. The staff was very warm, friendly and inviting. They made you feel like you were part of the family, enjoying a Sunday meal. I can't say enough about this place. It was a wonderful food experience!

The steak was ok. My father did enjoy the catfish dinner. The kids chicken strip was good.

It's still just as amazing as the old location was! I'll be curious to see how the move affects business, though. This place is way smaller than the old location. They haven't even announced that they've reopened yet, but just by word of mouth the place was packed on the 2nd day so it should work out ok. The food is still awesome.

The combo, kids walleye, and Philly were all great. The catfish in the combo was excellent. Staff were friendly, and quick on refills etc. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Friendly, welcoming staff. The catfish is hot, steamy and fresh. The tasty homemade mashed potatoes went great as a side. It's an overall laid back dining.

Great hidden gem! After we almost got lost twice on the way, we found this gem! Definitely use navigation! The restaurant was at capacity, but after a short wait, the friendly hostess took us to the table. The place is pretty basic, but it has plenty of TVs, decorations and even Keno! The waitress was very friendly and on top of it! Make sure that you get the stuffed mushrooms! You can thank me later! We also had gizzards as an appetizer and they were great as well - good seasoning and cooked to perfection. We had the walleye dinner and the prime rib - both VERY large portions and tasting great! Our friends ordered the Country Fried Steak and it was HUGE!!! It's probably enough for three people! Overall great experience and we'll be back soon!
