on monday I went to blue sky hoping for square nails with bright pink shellac. The lady, Julie did my nails and she was in a rush. She did not take her time at all. While prepping my acrylic nails for shellac she tore up my cuticles. not only did my cuticles bleed, but by the time I left the salon my cuticles were swollen. I had told her multiple times that she was hurting me and she still continued to file down my raw cuticles. I was ON THE VURGE OF TEARS. As she was painting my nails she just slapped on the gel. My nails looked horrible and were flooding with gel. she asked if I liked the nails and I kindly told her no. she then had me pick out a different color and started filing down the pink gel from the acrylic. And yet again she kept hitting my raw cuticles. she painted my nails again but I did not like how it turned out either so I paid and left. i took the rest of the gel off by the next day, the gel was chipping horribly. not to mention their tools are reused and not sanitary at all. i’m surprised i haven’t gotten an infection yet. They did not sanitize anything. And nail clippings were everywhere. I do not recommend.

I LOVE this place. Best place in Bellevue to get your nails done. I now see Ocean and he does a fantastic job. I have seen others as well and pretty much anyone here is worth the money you spend for a mani/pedi.

I went there for the first time today and my nails turned out so bad i BAWLED! a lady fixed them the best she could and i tipped her for doing what she could but they still dont look great! I have never been so upset! my nails are crooked, slanted, acrylic under my nails, sharp edges, and just all over not good. paid $70 for nothing! A Picture of what i asked for & what i got at first included. They wont give me any money back & want to redo them but i dont want them touching my hands again. i SHOULDNT be fixing something i PAID for!

First and only time i will ever be coming here. I could've done a better pedicure at home. If it wasn't for my friend who was paying for me i would have complained so much more and probably not even paid. They were super unsanitary putting the towels for my legs on their dirty table where they set everyones used utensils. And the massage SUCKED!! Also did not clean the tubs after we used them and set other people down after us. Also did not clean underneath my toe nails and when i asked him to he said he did and i was like no and this dude took a cuticle cutter to clean underneath my toe nail.

I've been going here for years. It's sometimes a hit and miss on how your experience will be, but yesterday was by far the worst and I will not be going back. First, I was sat next to a child, which us usually not a big deal, but this child was loud the ENTIRE time. His tablet volume was at maximum and he was bouncing around in the chair, playing with the massage function. He was making noises to the massage for 30 minutes at least. The woman who did my pedicure was distracted and rushed, the entire time. She kept looking around and everything else going on. I was in and out in under 45 minutes (note, I had a pearl pedicure) I did ask for a design. The only difference from the example picture to what I wanted was polish color would be pink instead of blue. This is the worst design I have ever received. The flowers are wayy bigger than the example and the lines aren't straight or all the way across my nails. I understand, things will never look exactly as the picture does, but this is unacceptable. I messaged Blue sky and they did apologize and offered to fix it, but I have to come in within the next week. I am glad they offered to fix it, but after everything I went through, I requested a refund. They denied and said the best they can do is a free design. They did try to fix the issue, but I don't want to go back to a place that is this unprofessional.

I'm not a huge manicure/pedicure person. I have them done mostly as a social activity. I read some reviews about how unclean it was. I didn't find it dirty. Not as neat and sanitized as some premier spas I've been too, but this is a salon and the prices are half that. I asked for an American design. Something like the flag. I expected them to paint a flag on my nail. Instead they applied some thing on top? Like sequins? Stickers? It wasn't painted on. However, I did like the results. They were very polite. My friend had a more chatty nail technician. We both did the Pearl pedicure ($40) and added a design ($5). Both of us nicked it during and they fixed it with no extra charge. Going home I did notice 2 of the sticker stars had fallen out. I'm not sure if that was my carelessness or the product not being on properly. The massage in the legs was very weak but I'm not penalizing that as I possibly could have spoken up and asked for more pressure.

In the time I was there getting a pedi and a full set for a wedding I'm in there were multiple people complaining about their nails they just got done and the people running it were making excuses about it to the customers. I took 1 shower and the gel paint started peeling off. The acrylic isn't even, the tips aren't straight and the gel is bunched in places.

I don't if it's me but, not loving how my shellac nails turned out at night. He rushed when doing my nails the shape is horrible and he put the nail gel on way to thick on some parts of my nail. Look how far he put the gel away from my cuticle.
