Applebee's Grill + Bar

Our family frequently travels to this location for lunch/dinner on a monthly basis. The restaurant is generally kept very clean, staff is friendly, service is fairly quick, and food is up to quality standards. We have had a few minor issues with food made incorrectly in the past. However, the issues are taken care of in a timely manner. Another plus for this restaurant is they often have food/drink specials for a good price!

Waited 10 minutes for a table. The table that we sat down at was open the whole time. We got the unlimited appetizer and took for ever to get more of them.

We were asked to show our IDS for purchasing alcohol whitch is completely valid and fair. However, they asked to scan them (also fair) but in the process took them from our table to the manager who scanned them using an "Iowa app". I asked where their sign was saying they scan IDs (per Nebraska law 60-4,111.01). They had no sign nor were they aware of the law that dictates how they are allowed and restrictions on scanning ids. I have no issue with using scanners to ensure they are in accordance with laws on serving alcohol but they need to be in accordance with the law also.

It has been a few years since I have been to an Applebee's due to bad experiences everytime. Tonight they once again disappointed. We had a table of 9 which is rather large but there was hardly anyone in the place. It took over an hour to get our food which all tasted like it had been sitting under a heating lamp for half that time of waiting. The French onion soup was unedible once I finally did get it. The waitress made a comment while we were ordering about how good the cook was I would have hated to see what their worst chef sent out. To top it off they were supposed to bring out a dessert for my mom's birthday, never got it I could see the disappointment in my moms face about the entire dinner experience. I understand being understaffed everywhere is, but an apology goes a long way. This has pretty much nailed the coffin on ever going to another Applebee's ever. I would have had a better meal at McDonald's up the street.

The last six times I've came here to place an order, it's turned out awful. While the spinach artichoke dip is still delicious as always, the shrimp and parmesan steak I ordered has always been severely undercooked. I ask for medium well to outright well done and it comes out cold and rare. Medium rare if I'm lucky. I used to love coming over here but now I tend to avoid it like the plague.

Food quality have definitely improved here, i tried the salmon and it was very good. This place used to be the worst, but now its so much better. Dont skip on applebees

Our waitress was really nice. She also came back to check on us to make sure we weren't needing anything. The food was great. I have noticed apple bees portions have gotten a lot smaller. But for for the overall price and service it's still a great place to eat.

My daughter wanted to go to Applebee's for her birthday so we did and the food was great and the sevice was excellent. They were super short staffed, BUT they did a phenomenal job being attentive to us. Jeremiah was our server and he was wonderful. He hilariously sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and of course we got a free dessert. After a few minutes one of the managers walked by and told my daughter that if she could answer a question correctly, he would pay for one of our entrees. He asked "Do we talk about Bruno?" And of course my daughter said "No!" We all laughed and it was a good time. The staff went above and beyond for no reason and they definitely were working hard. Everyone working there that night deserves some recognition and a raise!

Okay, I have to say that this was my best dining experience in a long time because we had the BEST WAITRESS- Somebody needs to give ZAKARI G. a raise because she's phenomenal! Met up with a old time friend (we've know each other for 22+ years) to eat dinner and catch up and we were literally at the restaurant talking for like 4 hours. Zakari was attentive and so sweet the whole time- she had great food recommendations (the molten lava cake for dessert that she thought we would like was delicious 😋). I cannot say enough good about her and the food- thank you for making our night so memorable and we will 100% aak for your section next time we come.

Food was good service was great ! But asked for more if secluded area they had done sections closed we couldn’t even sit in bar area it was closed off , was set by a large table of teenagers who cussed and was very loud our whole meal time we ate quickly and left , disappointed, and also that half price apps is only after 9 pm
